Walking on the beach is great for your body,
your feet and your mind. Imagine standing at the edge of the surf where the
waves lap gently over and around your feet and through your toes. Sand slowing
ebbing away as you adjust your toes and stance to keep your balance. Exercising
your legs and feet while calming your mind.
Tofino, Vancouver Island, British Columbia We stayed for 3 nights at the Wickaninnish Inn which is situated on the outside shore of Southern Vancouver Island. A 20 minute walk brings you to restaurants and shops of delightful Tofino, but right on the premises you can whale watch and walk for miles when it's low tide. You'll need to wear shoes to protect against sea urchin and the like. The Wickaninnish Inn has a fabulous spa to pamper more than your feet.
