Shoe Trees
A Shoe Tree is a
road side phenomenon that involves the act of nailing, hanging or affixing one's
shoes to a tree. Each Shoe Tree is a work of art that starts with one pair of
shoes and evolves with each passing traveler who decides to add their shoes to
the attraction. The true origin of the The Shoe Tree is somewhat of a mystery
…although it is speculated that this tradition may have originated during the
bliss of the 70's.
