TOG's Continuing Education Seminars
THE ORTHOTIC GROUP seminars are an excellent way for Healthcare practitioners to gain a deeper understanding of custom orthotic therapy, lower limb biomechanics and gait analysis.
The field of orthotics is constantly changing. It is our commitment to provide you with educational forums that offer up-to-date information on the orthotic industry from a clinical and business standpoint.
Custom Orthotic Therapy
Increase your knowledge of orthotic therapy! If you are a health care practitioner that is new to foot orthotics,or are a seasoned expert this seminar will provide you with the fundamentals needed to practice orthotic therapy successfully in your clinic. This full day seminar will educate you in lower limb anatomy, biomechanics, muscle activity during gait, assessment techniques, and casting in sub-talar neutral.
Gait Analysis
This seminar is designed to help you understand and assess lower limb biomechanics like never before. This learning experience will be facilitated through TOG GaitScan™, a computerized pressure analysis tool brought to you by The Orthotic Group. This system calibrates valuable quantifiable pressure and timing measurements during standing, walking, and running, and will assist you to determine your patient's need for orthotic therapy.
At this seminar you will learn why gait technology plays an important role in the analysis of the foot, how this technology can help you in your clinical setting, the gait cycle (in-depth) and why this dynamic information is important to use in your patient diagnosis.
Advanced Orthotic Therapy
Our Advanced Foot Biomechanics Seminar introduces graduates of our Orthotic Therapy Seminar to difficult foot types and case studies. This seminar is designed for enthusiasts who are looking to understand how the foot is functioning during gait. This half day seminar, hosted by Dr. Alan Lustig, takes you through: the complete gait cycle, the nine foot types, advanced case studies and the terminology used by specialists in biomechanics and footcare.
Mastering Orthotic Therapy
Mastering Orthotic Therapy was first launched on September 13th, 2008 and it was a resounding success! This seminar focuses on pathologies and orthotic therapy and is relevant to any practitioner that practices orthotic therapy in their office.
NEW! Practical Aspects of TOG
